About

Hi, I'm Jaime.

Oak shelf of stacked books, brass Shabbat candlesticks, a fig branch in a stone vase and an olive wood bowl, beside a Jerusalem stone window recess in late sun

I grew up in South Africa, in a house where the kitchen was the heart of everything and there was always room for one more at the table.

When I moved to Israel, I arrived the way so many English speakers do: a few suitcases, boxes on the way, and a small Tel Aviv rental that somehow had to become home. I learned the Israeli apartment the hands-on way. Trisim that stick in August. A mamad that ends up as the storage room, the guest room and the office all at once. Half the kitchen cupboards I was used to. And the landlord calling in fast Hebrew about the dud shemesh.

Somewhere along the way, friends started calling me in. First to help them unpack, then to sort out a kitchen, a closet, a kid's room. I loved all of it: the editing, finding a proper place for everything, and the styling at the end that makes a room feel like yours.

That's why I started Habayit Sheli, which means "my home." It's for Anglos who want that feeling without the overwhelm: someone who speaks your language, understands how Israeli homes actually work, and shows up in person with a fixed price and zero judgement.

I'm Jaime, I'm 27, and I live in Tel Aviv. I'd love to help with yours.

The name

Habayit Sheli (הבית שלי) is Hebrew for "my home." Say it ha-BAH-yit sheh-LEE. It's what we want you to feel when you walk through your front door: this is mine, and it works for me.

What I believe

  • Clutter isn't a character flaw. It's what happens when life outgrows the space.
  • Beautiful and practical aren't opposites. A home should work on a Tuesday and look lovely on Shabbat.
  • You should know the price upfront.
  • Your things, your call. Nothing leaves without your yes.

What you can count on

  • A native English speaker, from the first WhatsApp to the follow-up.
  • Me, in person. I come to every session myself.
  • Discreet and judgement-free. What we see in your home stays there.
  • Nothing leaves without your OK. Every keep, donate or sell decision is yours.
  • Clear, published prices, VAT included. No hourly meter.
  • Donations handled. We drop off up to 4 bags at a local donation point.
  • A written follow-up within 48 hours: what we did, a shopping list if you need one, and three habits to keep it working.
